In this five-part feature, Jhand weaves through the many layers of this complex story using interviews, dramatizations and voice overs to provide insight and details that many have been unaware of. The interviewees include Hugh Johnston (historian), Sohan Pooni (historian), Tejpal Sandhu (great grandson of Gurdit Singh), Jaswinder Toor (Komagata Maru descendant), the late Jack Uppal (early pioneer), Raj Toor (Komagata Maru descendant), Bakbir Kaur Sandhu (Gurdit Singh descendant).
